The Horizon Club Complex facility is scheduled for demolition in the near future. As part of the demolition activities, several structures in the Horizon Club Complex including Building (542), the old Officers Club, (B544) Swimming Pool, (B541) Swimming Pool Pump House, (B543) Juniors Officers Club-Wellston, (545) Bath House, Tennis Courts, and adjacent Parking areas. As required prior to demolition of any buildings on Robins AFB, an accredited asbestos building inspector, certified lead-based paint (LBP) inspector and a hazardous materials specialist must conduct surveys of the buildings to identify potential asbestos containing material (ACM), lead- based paint (LBP), and hazardous materials.

As a subconsultant to Etegra Inc, Juniper Environmental, LLC (Juniper) conducted asbestos, lead-based paint and hazardous material surveys of the Horizon Club Complex, located at Robins AFB, Georgia. The Horizon Club Complex consists of Building (542), the old Officers Club, (544), Swimming Pool, (B541) Swimming Pool Pump House, (B543) Juniors Officers Club-Wellston, (545) Bath House, Tennis Courts, and adjacent Parking areas.

The objective of the surveys is to identify if any asbestos containing materials (ACM), Lead-based paint (LBP), and/or Hazardous Materials are present in the Horizon Club Complex per Delivery Order No. 4206892 Project Description for UHZ180018 Demo B542 Horizon Club Complex Statement of Work dated 12/07/18.

Juniper sub-contracted with Geotechnology Inc. (Geotechnology) to conduct ACM, LBP, and household hazardous waste survey services in accordance with the 78th Civil Engineer Group Asbestos Operating Plan Robins Air Force Base dated January 2015, and the Scope of Work dated December 19, 2018. ACM, LBP and hazardous material Survey includes surveying the interior and exterior of the following area: The Horizon Club Complex consisting of Building (542), the old Officers Club, (544), Swimming Pool, (B541) Swimming Pool Pump House, (B543) Juniors Officers Club-Wellston, (545) Bath House, Tennis Courts, and adjacent Parking areas.
